Excellent source of information. Because there is so little time in this exam, you need to be able to find references fast, and this book is a tremendous resource. Almost everything you need for the exam is contained in this book! Would highly recommend singing up for Dr. Mansour's lectures as well - as a supplement to this book. Good luck on the test!

As someone who has passed this exam from the first trial, I can firmly tell you that this textbook is a great one. It's comprehensive, straightforward, and concise. There is no extraneous material, only the content that's relevant to the exam. If you truly dedicate your time to studying from this book, then I can guarantee you success.

I used this book to pass the PE Civil: Transportation exam on my first try in October 2015. I did a ton of research online to find the best reference book to bring with me and this book was a great choice. It is very well organized with the tabs. There were only one or two PM problems where I could not find the information I needed in this book. The only other reference book I brought with me for the PM portion was the MUTCD manual, which I did use on a couple questions. This book was also helpful on several of the AM questions. The PE exam is not easy by any means, but this book will really help cut down the number of references you need to bring. You definitely don't need to bring all of the manuals listed by NCEES. Highly recommended.

I took transportation review courses with Dr. Shahin A. Later got the result and I did pass the exam. Dr. Shahin's books are well organized and really cover all the topics in great details.
